The firm's insurance litigation practice assists clients with complex first-party, third-party, bad faith, deceptive trade practice, insurance code, and coverage disputes. In this area, we primarily defend lawsuits for personal injuries and property damages based on tort, contract, and statutory theories of recovery. We handle more specialized issues, such as disputes involving fiduciary duties, construction defects, business dissolution, fraud, and tortious interference. Our attorneys have represented insureds or their insurance carriers in thousands of claims, from pre-suit through appeal, including hundreds of settlement negotiations, arbitrations, and mediations.
