Mr. Jones joined the firm in 2011. His practice consists primarily of commercial transactions, business formations, and estate planning.

Chris is a native of Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School. He attended Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Finance. While at Oklahoma State University, Chris served on the Student Conduct Committee, was a member of Beta Alpha Psi (an honors association for accounting majors), and served on the executive board of his fraternity. He also instructed LSAT and GRE review classes and worked as an account clerk in the OSU Purchasing Department.

Following his tenure at OSU, Chris attended Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law where he was granted the Dean’s Scholarship and the Ed and Margaret Roberts Foundation Panhandle Scholarship. While at Dedman School of Law, Chris served as both a student attorney and Chief Counsel in SMU’s Federal Taxpayer’s clinic, served as a Chief Justice for 2010 Jackson Walker Moot Court Competition, and clerked part-time during his second and third years. Chris received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2011.

Chris lives in Amarillo with his wife, Shanna, and their two dogs.
