JASON RAHLFS

Associate

Mr. Rahlfs joined the firm in March 2005 after the conclusion of his legal studies at Texas Tech University School of Law. Mr. Rahlfs's practice focuses primarily on Estate Planning and Probate, as well as Business and Commercial Transactions.

Mr. Rahlfs was selected by the publishers of Law & Politics and Texas Monthly as one of the top young attorneys in Texas in the 2008 edition of Texas Super Lawyers Magazine Rising Stars Edition.

Mr. Rahlfs was raised in Canyon, Texas and is a graduate of Canyon High School. Following his high school education, Mr. Rahlfs attended Abilene Christian University. Mr. Rahlfs graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.B.A. in Management and a minor in Public Service in December of 2001. Mr. Rahlfs was a 4 year letterman on the ACU Baseball team and was a member of the Jack Pope Fellowship Program.

Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Rahlfs attended Texas Tech University where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in December of 2004. Mr. Rahlfs was a member of the law school honors fraternity of Phi Delta Phi and an Associate Editor of the Texas Tech Journal of Texas Administrative Law while at Texas Tech.

Mr. Rahlfs currently serves as President of The Hope and Healing Place, a non-profit organization, which provides grief and loss services to families following the loss of a parent, child, or other family member.

Mr. Rahlfs is married to Melinda Ferro Rahlfs who is also an attorney with the firm. The couple has a beautiful daughter, Ava.

In his spare time, Mr. Rahlfs enjoys playing tennis, golf, softball, cooking and his playing the guitar
