Leah moved to the Texas Panhandle in the summer of 2016 after marrying a local farmer. Having grown up on a farm in Southwest Kansas, moving to the Panhandle felt a lot like moving home – friendly people, wide-open spaces, and magnificent sunsets. Leah focuses on elder law, which includes estate planning, probate, Medicaid planning, and special needs trusts. She chose this practice area because she walked through the estate planning process with friends and family, which included establishing a special needs trust for her own brother. She understands the long-term emotional and financial concerns of families who are wrestling with how best to care for their most vulnerable members.
